STILLS
First cast rehearsal, Wednesday, 22 November 2017, Toronto.
ABOUT GROUP
Group is an episodic dramatic comedy about the intersecting struggles of a goal-setting group at a leading clinical addiction research facility in the metropolis. Driven by a diverse ensemble cast, the show treats serious issues of addiction and mental illness with respect, authenticity and incisive, edgy humour. It seeks to illuminate the silent struggle of millions by laughing at life's idiosyncrasies again.
Group draws on the incredible talents of Toronto’s premiere live script-reading ensemble, Toronto Cold Reads. Fusing accomplished theatre, film and television actors from across Canada and the world with yet-undiscovered emerging talents, the collective represents a well-rehearsed, professional cast already collaborating actively.
